Gerak Saga is happy to announce that in May 2021, the company gained certification under the Malaysian Timber Certification Scheme (MTCS), which is endorsed by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC). This certification demonstrates that timber products produced by Gerak Saga are from responsibly managed forests and that the company is devoted to ensuring environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable forestry management.
This was the first audit in Malaysia using the new MTCS standards, marking a significant achievement for Gerak Saga and highlighting our commitment to transparency and integrity within the industry.
